Lifewise Academy

LifeWise Academy is a nonprofit organization that provides Bible-based religious education to public school students during school hours, operating under "released time" laws. Founded in 2018, it offers voluntary, off-campus, and privately funded instruction, focusing on character development and Bible study, often serving elementary students.

The 1952 U.S. Supreme Court decision Zorach v. Clauson determined that teaching the Bible during the public school day was constitutional and therefore legal in all 50 states under three conditions:

1 - OFF SCHOOL PROPERTY
Program must be held off site of school premises.

2 - PRIVATELY FUNDED
No government funds can be used for this program.

3 - PARENT PERMITTED
Parental permission is required for child’s participation.

Twiggs County began this program in March, 2026 for 5th grade students.  We hope this will expand soon!

Please pray for this program and donate if you are able.
